Prof. Dong Xiaoguang serves as Executive Deputy Director of Shandong Eye Institute and President of Qingdao Eye Hospital. She is Member of Chinese Ophthalmological Society Vitreous and Retina Group, Vice Chairman of Shandong Ophthalmological Sociey Vitreous and Retina Group, and Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology.

      Specializing in vitreous and retina, Prof. Dong becomes one of the leaders in the combined surgeries, e.g., black diaphragm intraocular lens implantation in aphakic eyes with traumatic aniridia and previous pars plana vitrectomy, as well as endoscope-assisted implantation of transsclerally sutured posterior chamber intraocular lens in eyes with previous vitrectomy.
